Greg Wilson Live on The Tube 1983
On February 25th 1983 Greg Wilson became the first British DJ to mix live on national television, appearing on Channel 4’s ‘The Tube’. At this point in time mixing had yet to make a major impact on the UK club scene, with only a small minority of British DJ’s embracing what was still very much regarded as an American approach.
